Mindfulness

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic interventions are insight-oriented, assisting to identify and change unconscious motivations for your behavior, psychological defense mechanisms, and recurring patterns in your life.  This approach will include exploration of interpersonal relationships and dynamics that emerge within the therapy relationship.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness involves our capacity to concentrate attention to the experience of the present moment.  The incorporation of mindfulness-skills will include prompts and exercises to increase awareness to thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations.  These skills are practiced to increase self-control and safe embodiment.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

(CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT) is based in the principle that problems and distress are based, at least in part, on faulty or unhelpful thoughts and learned patterns of behavior.  Cognitive behavioral interventions assist to identify and modify thoughts and behavior that do not support your mental health needs or desired goal outcomes.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally focused therapy applies theory of attachment and attachment related distress to identify and discontinue conflict patterns. Interventions will build insight to unhealthy patterns of communication, behavioral reactions, and relevant emotional needs. Skills will be developed as needed to support connection, attachment security, and relationship satisfaction.
